Admission’s Criteria

We provide a comfortable home and support for young people. Prior to residence with us, we will have assessed the individuals needs thoroughly, to ensure that our service is right for them and able to provide them with a level of support to suit their needs and requirements.

To refer a young person to BTG or if you are a young person and you would like to be referred please follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Once you have read through the web site and realise that this is what your looking for, then please ring up our head office to request a referral form or download and print the referral form at the bottom of this page.

Step 2: We would then send you a referral form immediately with a stamped addressed envelope for an easy return. Please complete the referral form in as much detail as possible as this would enable us to see if the young person will be eligible for our accommodation with support

Step 3: If the young person fits our criteria we would then invite them to view the house, where they would meet some of our staff team members. They would be shown their personal room where they will be staying as well as the rest of the communal areas in the home. Then the decision is theirs, they must decide with their family/friends/Social Workers etc, whether this is the right choice for them.

Step 4: If they decide the accommodation is right for them, and they wish to move in, we will then arrange a moving in date for them.

Step 5: Once they have moved in, a Pathway Plan will be completed if one is not already in place for them, and we will work with them to help them achieve all their goals and aspirations and enable them to look towards the future.
